Mitch clark
Re: Mitch clark
A fev supporting friend said that Clark is playing really well, said that he is busting tackles off loading well and is head and shoulders above any other player they have and he is surprised that we let him go on loan.
He has also heard that they have signed him on a full time basis.

Re: Mitch clark
18-19th October or around that time
RLWC started 27-28th of October
DP I believe was over in Australia around that time onwards

If hes doing that well for fev then for me i would be getting him back in our squad to push other players like moores and millo.to good of player to let go this soon into the season
Re: Mitch clark
I know Powell has been interested in Mitch Clarke for a number of years, I also think it's not Clarke, it is Clare that most of you are referring too......
Re: Mitch clark
That would make more sense. Cant see him getting a game anytime soon.Casmoley wrote:I know Powell has been interested in Mitch Clarke for a number of years, I also think it's not Clarke, it is Clare that most of you are referring too......

I think we are missing a prop with a big hit

Couldn't agree moremart0042 wrote:I think we are missing a prop with a big hit
Missing someone with size and aggression to put themselves about. Shame Adz Milner isn't built like Springer or McSequins
Re: Mitch clark
Don't think that's lost on DP, that's why he tried to sign Fifita last season.mart0042 wrote:I think we are missing a prop with a big hit

Us too Lurcher, he always lifts the team when he comes on, hope Pauli Pauli can have the same impact this season.lurcher wrote:wish we could have done jinj, love him as a player and a character.

Re: Mitch clark
He's one massive unit that Pauli Pauli Jinj. I reckon he'll be a big hit for you when he gets used to the pace of SL and the conditions. Good find that I reckon.JIN JER wrote:Us too Lurcher, he always lifts the team when he comes on, hope Pauli Pauli can have the same impact this season.lurcher wrote:wish we could have done jinj, love him as a player and a character.

Yeah hopefully, looks like we took a bit of a punt on him fitness wise, hopefully he'll turn out another good find.derbystiger wrote:He's one massive unit that Pauli Pauli Jinj. In his column in yesterday's match day programme the Castleford CEO, Steve Gill, wrote, "the likes of MITCH CLARK, Will Maher, Brandon Douglas, Gary Lo and Cory Aston will be back available for selection for us on the 1st March" Which makes this thread a bit of Taurus the Bull.
He also explained how the loan system works. The loanee goes on loan for an initial 28 days after which Cas has a 24 hour call back. He also said that because of the week off, due to the World Club Challenge, this February was a good time to have the 28 days, as it only incudes three SL games.

Re: Mitch clark
At times I wonder about our support, moan about championship quality signings then go mad for them when they perform in the championship. Whinge about quota players on loan then pick them in their hypothetical team for next week.
DP gets paid good money to create the best squad he can for the budget he has available. Since 2013 he's consistently performed in this respect. None of us know exactly what we have to spend or how much each player gets so really the best thing we can do is support whoever Daryl thinks is worthy of the shirt.
So far our bargain signings include the likes of Dorn, Finn, Sneyd, Gale, McMeeken, Solomona and my particular favourite McShane.
Does anyone remember how bad we were under Mildred ?
