Warm weather training
Warm weather training
Cas flew out from Yeadon airport this morning. All the lads that were there seem to be having fun. This is according to the mother in law who knows nothing about rugby (have managed to drag her down t’lane to watch a game tho.) she even sent me a picture of her and DARREN Powell bless her. She says she didn’t see anyone with a moon boot in though so might be a good sign for Ellis .

Plenty of pics on Instagram and Facebook.
Looks like the full squad are there.
I counted 34 that’s with coaches included.
Let’s hope it’s an omen to what happened last season after there 7 days in lanzarote.

Re: Warm weather training
No reason why we cant/wont have another good season. I wouldnt expect the same, that would be difficult, but somewhere near is achievable.

What classes as improvement though ? Is Top 4 and a Challenge Cup win better than LLS .

Getting the tactics right in a final might be good for starters.

Not peaking early. Steady build. Stay in the hunt. Play your best rugby when it really matters.takethetwo wrote:What classes as improvement though ? Is Top 4 and a Challenge Cup win better than LLS .
Re: Warm weather training
more of last year, the rugby we played was the envy of the RL yes we did slip up badly in the final but at least we got there i hear fans saying we don't want to peak too early , for me every game is worth 2 points every game won takes us were we want to be, lets start off at Saints and get the monkey of our back
Re: Warm weather training
We have never been crowned Champions so, if it was a choice between ripping it up all year then falling short, or stuttering through but winning the last 2 games of the season, I'll take the latter please.
Re: Warm weather training
Building on last season to me is remaining a major danger for honours.the easiest thing this team could do is feel sorry for themselves, drop in confidence and have a poor season.been one of the main players for honours this season is a big mental challenge aswel as physical.improving wise I would say challenge cup and in the position to go to old Trafford.Scoopage wrote:All the talk from each player and DP is about building on last season improving.i really hope soLofthouse Tiger wrote:No reason why we cant/wont have another good season. Re: Warm weather training
Not being a 'one season wonder' should be the main aim. Building towards being contenders at the business end of the season for a few seasons on the trot is what makes a top side. Top sides have consistency, thats got be what we have to work towards. Becoming the next 'Huddersfield' is not what we want.

Re: Warm weather training
We have been to 2 major finals in the last 4 years and topped the league in that time we have proved we are not 1 season wonders but let’s back it up again this year and get a victory at either Wembley or old Trafford
Re: Warm weather training
I must be old fashioned, as i would prefer a Wembley appearance before old Trafford but i would settle for any of them
