I fancy the progressive Poormans Hill in the 3.10 at Fairyhouse, though meets some decent rivals and a risk as up in distance. He is much lower in the weights and the market movement is encouraging.

Forest Des Aigles looks the best bet of day to me. Improving type, good yard and won readily last time out. Appears to have found a fairly weak race.

I'll go £10 win double on:
Poormans Hill, 3.10, Fairyhouse
Forest Des Aigles, 3.30, Carlisle.

Half right anyway. Been over ambitious with Poormans Hill. Should have played it safer with Death Duty instead!

You seen the goal? A diving header scored by the goalkeeper!

Unreal scenes!

It definitely stood out in that line up and duly delivered, fortunately I actually backed the 2 horse as singles and got FDA at 7/4 this morning.

Think we all have trainers or jockeys like that. On the flat Dettori seems to screw me over regularly, looses when i back him and wins plenty when ive backed sonething else.

Looked at both of them too, short odds horses always seem to let me down on Sundays so I left Death Duty alone. Thought Apples Jade had found a fairly hot race so stayed clear. Definitely 2 horses to follow come the big races later in the year.

In his email Mark Howard says that FDA is potentially a 130 rated chaser so was chucked in today off 118.

Presenting Percy was a missed betting opportunity today for me.

Presenting Percy burnt me the last time it ran so thought I'd take it on today. Should have known it would bolt up (always the way!)

I'll go for a couple of likelier types in a tricky days racing for the Olly Murphy/Richard Johnson combo.

£10 win double
Mullagboy, 1pm, Fakenham
Oxford Blu, 3.30pm, Fakenham
