2017 for me as I cant remember 1999, but if 1999 was any better than this season I do wish I could remember it, this year we have produced a brand of rugby that as been enjoyed by rugby supporters all over the world our gates have gone up in these tough economic times , on the down side we are having to set of early to park up then there was the disappointing end to the season, I shall be popping down for my season ticket looking forward to another great year 2018 COME ON YE FORD

I spent a bit of time thinking about this myself. 1999 we went away in the playoffs, unfancied and turned over people who expected to beat us. In a lot of ways every weekend towards the end of the season was a bonus. I loved every second of it.
Obviously however those memories are tarnished because of what we now know followed the lord mayors show.

This year was entirely different, we were up there to be shot at every week and unless we went on an got a ring last week, it was always going to feel something of a let down or chance missed. It will be harder to back up 2017, people will be looking for us to "do a Leicester" and it have been one season.

Living it, 1999 was better, as a club, team and coaching achievement, this season was bigger. Interesting comments from Brian Noble on the BBC podcast review of the final about how we might approach bigger games differently. Appreciate of course opinions are like AH's, everyone's got one.

Enjoyed 1999 far more, but that has nothing to do with last week's result. There was a whole different feeling around the club at that time. We had come from near relegation a couple of seasons before to within 80 minutes of the final. Those 3 play -off games had an atmosphere all of their own, which haven't been bettered since.

We were also at the top of our game from a marketing point of view, thanks to Michael and Monique and the buzz that generated has not been seen since.

Each to their own but, for me, 1999 was the season I've enjoyed the most (and I've seen a few!).

this year for me-almost every week we have played fantastic attractive rugby and I've probably been to more of them due to falling right for work than anytime since the 80's.

I was thinking of this the other day and to be honest I dont think you can compare as they were both very good seasons in their own way

1999 was after flirting with relegation a few seasons before and with what seemed like everyone predicting us to do the same the building blocks were put in place after 97 when Stuart Raper became coach and the atmosphere in the ground on matchday was brilliant. I was quite happy that we produced a lot of homegrown talent (but with Cas being an 'unfashionable' club we have always had to do that).

2017 we have played some fantastic rugby week in week out and again I feel this is a culmination of 3 seasons with DP in charge assisted by his unsung backroom team. Again the atmosphere at games, especially at the start of the season when we were blowing teams away was brilliant. I just hope that we keep the nucleus of the squad and improve, with us being near the top end of the table that shouldn't be a problem but I hope that we sustain what has been (apart from Saturday) a very good season

I'm very excited for 2018

1999, was a great season for us but this year for me has surpassed it, the stile of rugby we have produced week in, week out, has been on a different level, beating a lot of the top clubs home and away .

We won the league leaders shield, the first tome in our history, and bar the disruption on the run up to the grand final, another trophy we have never lifted who knows the result might have been a lot different, our performance in the grand final was reminiscent of out Catalan debacle, after Carny's shenanigan disrupted the squad.
