Wonder where he’ll end up.

Re: Gigot
Officially leaving Catalan.hudds Toronto and st George favourites.would love him at cas
Re: Gigot
I really liked him, until he started messing around with that (now outlawed) technical play the ball penalty-mess when we played at Catalans this year. Shenton getting involved is another story - but Gigot went down in my estimations after that game.

Re: Gigot
Fullbacks like Gigot don’t come on the market often, I’d have him tomorrow.
Wherever he ends up, I think a move away from France would do him a world of good. His skillset is being wasted.

Re: Gigot
I have no idea if he can speak English or not, but if he doesn’t it’s the only downside I could possibly see to signing him.
He’s one of the top full-backs in the competition. Our weakest position is at full-back. As long as he’s not asking for silly money, it’s a no-brainer in my opinion.
I might be wrong, but something makes me think we are rolling into next year with Mata’utia as our number 1 full-back in the hope he improves playing alongside Gale.

Re: Gigot
Couldn't see Gigot fitting in with Powells style of play as he is a very off the cuff instinctive type of player.nottinghamtiger wrote:I have no idea if he can speak English or not, but if he doesn’t it’s the only downside I could possibly see to signing him.

Re: Gigot
I’m sure Powell could develop a structured side to his game, as he did with Dorn and Hardaker. And indeed Rangi Chase was playing some of his best rugby in the latter half of 2013 when Powell put some structure into his game.Sharlotiger wrote:Couldn't see Gigot fitting in with Powells style of play as he is a very off the cuff instinctive type of player.nottinghamtiger wrote:I have no idea if he can speak English or not, but if he doesn’t it’s the only downside I could possibly see to signing him.

An element of unpredictability is an asset in rugby league. At the moment, we don’t have anyone who can provide a moment of skill to break a game or change the momentum. Or at least nobody who can do it often enough.
Re: Gigot
He’s had a good few man of the match interviews and spoken English quite well. He’d be a cracking signing.nottinghamtiger wrote:I have no idea if he can speak English or not, but if he doesn’t it’s the only downside I could possibly see to signing him.

That's assuming we play Stenton over Pete in centre and Rankin plays FB not Pete.

Re: Gigot
I think Stenton is a bit long in the tooth now, good as he was in the 60s!fords wrote:This will be it in 2020. Won't be no Gigot.jackknife wrote:I think the backline below is just as exciting
