Robert Lui
According to mick gedhill on twitter.
my source at Salford told me that they'd accepted a bid of £275,000 from Leeds for a halfback, who I wrongly assumed was Jackson Hastings. Apologies for the confusion as it's now been confirmed as Robert Lui - who will join Leeds at a press conference next week.

Re: Robert Lui
Desperation from Leeds if the 275k fee is true. He’s out of contract at the end of the season. They are paying 275k for him to play about ten games.old cas lass wrote:According to mick gedhill on twitter.

Re: Robert Lui
Agree with that mate. It’s seems ludicrous to spend such an amount on a player they can get for free in a few months. Unless they see him as the player to save them from true drop, then it’ll be money well spentnottinghamtiger wrote:Desperation from Leeds if the 275k fee is true. Re: Robert Lui
It appears the fee is £65k now, but not sure he’s the man to make the difference, he was very hit and miss before Hastings went there.

Re: Robert Lui
other clubs have to move players on to make this happen due to quota spots. hkr have to move vaivai on so that they can take parcell from leeds. leeds then have room for lui.

Re: Robert Lui
What is crazy is the merry go round that's going on regarding the signings.
Leeds are panic buying. 65k for 10 games is ludicrous. But Salford need him off the wage bill.
Means a real merry go round as well.
Appears Ellis is required by Salford. But they want us to take Olpherts now as they can't afford both. We aren't as keen as got players fit to play (and he's not exactly much improvement).
As a result they're looking at Kevin Brown.
Absolute silly season. And this is the problem relegation brings. Just a good job Salford are where they are in the league. As they're trying to raise 150/200k to see the season through. Which will lead to more players out of the door.

It would be ironic if they don’t finish bottom and then end up going down because they’re in administrationdettoriman wrote:What is crazy is the merry go round that's going on regarding the signings.

I think that's coming at Salford, the Dr is stopping paying for Hastings. There best season in years but still no fans.Tamworth Tiger wrote:It would be ironic if they don’t finish bottom and then end up going down because they’re in administrationdettoriman wrote:What is crazy is the merry go round that's going on regarding the signings.

Re: Robert Lui
If Leeds have managed to get rid of Lolohea, then they have done very well out of the deal.
