West tigers trio

Post by Bolton-tiger » 04 Jun 2019, 16:53

Reports out of Australia that Wests Tigers have offered forwards Russell Packer, Ben Matalino and Elijah Taylor to Super League clubs. All three have represented, or currently represent the New Zealand Kiwis.

Would any1 take 1 of these with the quota spot we have from mitch

If they play in NRL regular then chances are they are better than what we have.

I’d be shocked if Elijah Taylor doesn’t get another NRL deal if the Tigers are happy for him to go.
Packer is a strong prop. If the rumours of Millington retiring are true, I’d take him. His visa might be an issue though as he has a conviction for a violent assault and did some jail time.
Matulino has racked up 250 NRL appearances as a prop. He can’t be too bad either.
Sign the lot of them.

Id be disapointed if a lower team like salford or kr managed to sign 1 of them and we didnt especaily with the experience they all come with but i can see bigger teams like wigan, leeds, hull fc come in for them with big money
