According to John Davison on twitter via League Weekly they've been hit with a winding up order.

Applies to a UK subsidiary.

Not into all this so no idea what it all means?

A person or company is owed some cash that the club haven't paid (or unable to do) so they've applied for a winding up petition. Normally it's a way to force their hand in to paying the cash or the courts sell company assets or put the company in to liquidation.

Most of the time the debt is settled and the order removed.

Been reading an article this morning somewhere that a lot of clubs do it to avoid paying any debt until the very last minute.

Apparently a lot of rugby League clubs as well.
