David Furner, Leeds Rhinos
David Furner, Leeds Rhinos
Apparently not going to Leeds now.
Wonder if any of there new signings were coming over under the influence that he would be their coach?

Just seen a report from Hull daily mail saying furner offered the big job at souths. That must be hard to turn down. That ultimately his goal to coach in the nrl. Can't believe they want rid of seibold. He's done a good job.

If you meant Shaun Wane, he’s going to work for Scotland RU. Would take a bit of brass to get him away from that contract.mart0042 wrote:Where this come from? Sinfield was clearly putting all his eggs in one basket with him. Shaun range anyone?

Most are putting two and two together but it does say in most articles regarding him leaving KR that he's staying the area to work on leadership programmes for NHS Hull CCG and Sewellslurcher wrote:wonder if peacock leaving hkr is any thing to do with this

I was under the opinion that wanes contract was for one year, makes it affordable.

They swap coaches like you wouldn't believe. Also players. It truly is a game of little loyalty. However its seen as the norm over there.jackknife wrote:Wayne Bennett taken souths jobmart0042 wrote:Just seen a report from Hull daily mail saying furner offered the big job at souths. I couldn't imagine DP saying I'll stay at Cas this year and then I'll be at Leeds for the season after. You wouldn't want him around the place for fear of tapping up your players and staff.
