It's kind of good remembering the dark days to now thinking about making one of our players a marquee so we can free up cap space

I agree - don't get the love-in for him on here. Was definitely in the "average" bracket for me when at HKRmart0042 wrote:I'm not sure he's good enough.

Re: Ken sio
Well he just kept them up by funding Jackson Hastings and Joey Lussick.... OR THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN TOAST!! hes funding them alright, he knows his £8 million quid wont be worth a carrot if they get relegated, i think its a disgrace that he has severed all "official" connections with the club but can unfairly affect a competition to artificially keep a failing, unsustainable poorly supported club in super league!!Fumper27 wrote:Neither do Salford any more.Nobody wrote:We don't have Marwan to fund any of our players.

This is what I was on about, he's only cut official ties. He knew where Hastings was signing before Salford didTigerwood posse wrote:Well he just kept them up by funding Jackson Hastings and Joey Lussick.... Re: Ken sio
Salford were close to administration when the doc left. Talk of players leaving etc..
I can't see what will change without a big money backer. The doc cails his money in, they are gone. The same can be said for Huddersfield and others where the owner has nothing but players and the club name.
