Why only Joel.
Doesn’t the blue eye boy count in all this.
Yes he clamped up when the camera started rolling, the barmaid actually said that.

10k though. Well done Wigan.
Missed the 5k fined Sam as to pay.

I guess it proves Wigan think Joel is replaceable unlike Sam in the team otherwise both would have been dropped for a month.

The 10k and 5k fines should be given to an abuse charity like Refuge.

Either way, good that Joel is missing when they play us

I'd be happy for him to play, he's not the player who left for rugby union.

he's a flat track bully, very rarely goes one on one with the opposition forwards but likes to bully half backs. I wonder if the reason he spoke to the barmaid like that he was so drunk he thought he was talking to the ref.

Watching the video again, I don’t think Sam Tomkins does much at all.
He’s just stood there at the back, looking thoroughly embarrassed to be there and desperate to leave ASAP.

But that’s enough about the Warrington game......what’s all this about rectums in Wigan?

Yeah he is when he realises he's being filmed. Up until then he's being as much of an ar5e as his brother

in todays local paper joel has issued a long personal apology, stating he didn't remember it happening because he was so drunk. but he then says as soon as he woke up next morning he set about rectifying things by going back to apologise.
he also says that he is aware of a 2nd video taken a few minutes later which is equally as bad but hasn't surfaced yet.
wonder if he's expecting it to and getting the first one in.

He also says:
“Worried about what might happen next, and as a gesture of my genuine remorse, an agreement was reached to delete the video.“
That’s not remorse, Joel, that’s a bribe.

Anyone seen the second one.
It’s horrendous, vile, and I hope to god he gets the sack.
If JT stays at Wigan or even in the game, then Wigan will be backing an evil human being.

Firstly, got to hand it to the bar staff. He might be a big rugby player, but they certainly didn’t give an inch in the face of some appaling intimidation and abuse.
Secondly, it’s interesting to hear one of the staff say to Sam Tomkins “take your mate out”. Amongst the condemnation, there have been a few comments along the lines of “they only filmed them because they are rugby players”. As the bar staff didn’t know they were brothers, it seems unlikely they knew who they were at all.

Think they knew who they were. At one point she says get out. Joel says no and then she says just go, Sam wants to go

Only after Joel has used Sam’s name a number of times already, though.
