Got to be April Fools lol. Can you imagine if they started 2019 with Tomkins , Mead and Gigot .

They've made public their interest, which is noble of course.

I suspect this is a positive news story to divert attention from their position in the league and to underline their point they're planning for SuperLeague not battling it out for survival again. I suspect points are what they need, not plans to sign people.

I think Wanes dislike of DP and Cas has rubbed off on a lot of their players lol . Whenever he appears on TV in a pundits role he always comes across as a nice lad , and he's a very good fullback . Can't see him ever coming here though .

It would seem to be a given that Tomkins to Catalan and UKAD permitting, Hardaker nailed on for Wigan, possibly as a centre not a full back.
I find it strange, but the guy from the Wigan Echo or whatever it is called who is usually close to the topic is crystal clear about it.

Why would Samkins go to Catalans ? Are they "safe" from relegation ? Is SL going to 14 clubs next year ?

I think it's safe to say they don't want to lose catalans and would like to gain Toronto and maybe Toulouse and London.

I can see a 14 team league next year, 27 matches including magic weekend. A top 8 playoffs and the lowest 6 and 2 from championship with one promoted and one relegated.
