I dislike Sam Tomkins. However, he is a far better player than Kevin Brown.
Whoever chose Brown over Tomkins and Sneyd isn’t watching the same games I am.
Makinson is another strange one. Not sure what he brings when we have Hall, McGillvary and Johnstone and why he’d be chosen ahead of Eden.

I like Makinson and think he is a top winger and more than a useful full back, I would put him in front of Eden every day of the week.

Greg Eden

a) is injured and
b) hasn't scored a try yet this season.

There's plenty of time for ALL the British players in SL to force their way into the squads.

Next question should be, would you rather have half our squad jetting to the States or whatever or, if you were Powell, would you prefer to have all your players together for a rest week in mid-season ?

Eden scored loads as he was our left winger. Makinson would score just as many if he was our left winger. I like Tommy a lot. Runs it hard and holds his own in defence. Would trust him under a high balluch more than Eden too.
