Isn't he taking over the international stuff?

Still remaining CEO of the RFL.

Super League Europe is a separate entity. Sounds like the clubs believe they can do a better job of getting commercial deals in. Also, feels like a bit of a smash and grab of power to centralise distribution funds into SL. Could have ramifications for the Championship.

That should increase corporate hospitality capacity considerably and reduce excess baggage charges on international travel.
The worrying thing is where will the find anyone of his caliber on his pittance of pay package.
To have someone so incompetent to oversee the greatest games is a tough gig.
Perhaps Steve Gill could do it inhis tea break.

Looking at various social media sites it would appear most RL fans are absolutely missing this point and think he is going altogether.

I think that role is seriously beyond Steve’s capabilities at the moment, it’s not meant to be disrespectful , just an honest observation .

The pittance of a pay packet that is £300,000 a year you mean? Not sure how much of that is attributed as an employee of the RFL and how much is as an employee of SLE, though.
