Once I knew he wasn't going to get a Super 14 RU contract, I wondered how good an opportunity it would have been for us.

Maybe not in SL as his lack of RL experience and fitness would soon be shown up, but in NL1 he'd be awesome.

You may say that is laughable and would blow all our salary cap, well if you believe the BBC it'd be £40,000. A fair chunk of the cap yes, but think about the increase in gates, sponsors and media attention he would have caused.

Perhaps I should have been a CEO!

You could always contact our 'beloved' CEO and see what he can do. If it will raise extra revenue he may get it.

I few years back when we lost the likes of ellis and middleton, i always wanted cas to sign Robinson and convert Lomu to be our wingers. Though i was only young at the time.

The guy has been through a lot and is nothing like the talent he was, but as Cardiff Blues RU saw in his short stint, his name is still one of the biggest in world rugby and is a massive crowd puller.
