Re: Wakey to get new ground maybe
you better be sure before you go ahead will legal proceedings what you could lose and what you can gain ,if wakefield lose it could be a disaster for them , if they win apart from showing local councilors to be less than honest people i cant see in the long term what there going to gain in fact i think they will be worse off

The waters look as murky as ever to me
just had a look at whats been said on the wakey board the person who was making a very fair point about it being a dangerous game to try and sort out a new ground while having left belle vue to play at dewsbury being accused of liking to dress up as hitler lol ..charming

Causing mischief there mate, the guy who MC says likes dressing up as Hitler had photos on his Facebook page allegedly dressed as Hitler at a fancy dress party. HTHtigerfeat wrote:The waters look as murky as ever to me

Re: Wakey to get new ground maybe
Wakey playing Leeds on Boxing day. Could it be the last ever game at Belle Vue ? Carter claims Hussain isn't talking to him when he asks about paying rent for next year. There is a poster on their forum who makes the point that WT gave notice to quit Belle Vue earlier in the year and nothing has changed - he was (as usual) derided and ridiculed on the subject - but he might have a point.
Also, the bill of delipidation. No mention of the payment of making Belle Vue operational for 2018 - wasn't 400K the required amount to satisfy the health and safety alone ?
First 3 "home" games look mischievously convenient - Salford, Hudds and Widnes before the visit of the mighty Tigers Could the RFL be helping them for a bedding-in process at Dewsbury ?

Re: Wakey to get new ground maybe
No mention of the cost to upgrade Belle Vue and who will be paying for it.
No mention of the community facilities.
No mention of the current state of the ground and how it will be safe to play in 2018. Wasn't the cost of repairs 400K ?
All a bit vague if you ask me.

Re: Wakey to get new ground maybe
Get read for a new effigy for the Wakey fans to burn...... our very own Councillor Denise Jeffries has been appointed to the new trust to see the re-vamp of Belle Vue.

Denise Jeffries May represent a district of Castleford on the WMDC she acted like a cuckoo replacing one of our own local candidates when she was in danger of loosing her Wakefield seat I think she is a Wakefield fan at heart

Re: Wakey to get new ground maybe
Looks like another warehouse is going to be built that will not count toward Wakey's square footage towards the Newmarket community stadium :-
