Franchise2009

Post by TigerKnut » 22 Sep 2006, 20:47

OK heres my take on it

14 franchises I see

in no particular order

Wigan (Obviously)
Saints (Deservedly)
Hull (Unfortunately)
Leeds ( Sadly)
Bradford (Undoubtably)
Warrington (Due to new stadium)
Hull KR (Dependant on SL involvement)
Catalans (Definitely)
Cardiff (Probably)
Edinburgh (Maybe)
Harlequins (Unbelievably)
Huddersfield(Poss Fax merge)
Cas/Wakey merge(Sorry but its not my rules)
Salford (poss align with Widnes or Oldham)

So we might as well discuss it. Its not too far to 09.
Be interested on others views?
BTW I m being a realist

I reckon its the RFLs last chance to create a European Super League, who knows they may involve Dublin as well, knocking out another set of dyed in the wool RL fans

We could end up with another London club, another French club, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow and even Moscow !
Now how much room would that give us, to stand a chance of a franchise place ?
It's anyones guess yet though.
