Mr Manu, if that little rumour is true, well, I'll simply have to give up with this great sport. The implications of Bradford players doing such, are well, too big for words!

Whether they did it or not, I'll always believe they tired a little less than they ought to have done.

Not to add to the rumour, but its very different to the St Helens (Long / Gleeson) betting scam the other year.

This directly extended Wakefield's season and ultimately afforded them the ability to send Cas down. If any Bradford player, just 1, nevermind 8, tried a little less hard because of a bet they had made, the RFL simply has to act.

You couldn't relegate Bradford, so the sensible thing to do would be expansion - maybe letting those lucky Bradford players foot the bill for an extra team and the cut such would make to Sky money.

Sadly though, even if true, no such action will be taken. We would be lucky to even get a sorry.

i heard it was 16 of the team (Bai not betting) 2 days befored wakey v cas, if this is true it is technically match fixing which is RELEGATION! and nothing else

I believe the rumour.

I'll believe the punishment if any is ever imposed.

Surely all he'd need do was bet to lose every week, nobody would ever spot him intentially playing badly???
