Sounds like a rubbish game in rubbish conditions with a rubbish ref! Doesn't sound like Cas are up for it as much as Saints.

We seem to be trying but can't break them down. Their try came from poor defence. Apart from that nothing separates the 2 teams. Understand why we didn't go for 2 twice when 8-0down but 2 easy kicks would have made it 8-4 at half time which would have been a little better.

Saints defence good but we seem lacking ideas. Saints not shown much in attack

Easy two points in front of sticks everytime for me, worked for Leeds for a lot of years

That would have made it 8-6 with a 3rd easy kick from the penalty.

Tell ya what. The warning signs have been there for a while. Teams have worked us out and nullified our attack and now we have nothing. We may win LLS but I'm not confident of owt else unless we can create more. Very poor tonight. Majority of possession and did nowt with it

Cas weren't allowed to win that game.

Wilkin should have been sent off for that assault on Hitchcox, clear try wrongly disallowed, Saints "great" defence was go back 6 of the required 10m and concede what 8? Penalties inside their 10 and somehow not get anyone put in the bin.

The RFL simply do not want the 8s wrapping up within 3 weeks, expect more of this garbage.

You could see they didn't have any room to get anything going, like Hull in the cup it was a case of getting out done by a team daring the ref to give a penalty every play.

It's the only effective way of beating Cas. Credit to Saints for making the tackles though, they still need to be made... Unlike Cas who were poor in defence tonight.
