Turned down numerous drop goal attempts and even then it should have never come down to that. Blew a number of chances.

1 point is better than 0 but that SHOULD have been 2. KR will be ecstatic with that.

They now might stop believing all the hype and get on playing RL.
Wakefield got mullered today, let's see how we go next week.

Absolutely gutted!!! If we are to do well this year KR are a team we need to be beating and beating well. I know it's only the first game of the season, but look at last season we would have been top four if we had started better. KR are possibly the 2nd worst team in this league. Gutted, just gutted.

Why do we seem allergic to putting the drop goal over? At least 3 opportunities to do so in the last 10 to 12 minutes and kill the game.

Powell shouted his miuth off pre season but it looks like the boys can't back it up. With how well other clubs have recruited lets be honest we will do well to make the 8.

just finished listening...typical PPP again at the start of a season...... said at half time we would be lucky to get a draw.

Rovers are where Wakey were last year and once again we cannot produce the goods, all the talk of a top four side this year .... watch the Wigan game that's how a top four team get wins in bad weather.

I suppose the positive is this season we at least got a point,,,,, games like this will come back and haunt us again.

So disappointing after all the hype.

HKR one of the pre-season favs for the drop, this is a real reality check. Wakey will be an even bigger challenge for what is their cup final.

First game of the season, away from home in front of a hostile KR crowd, terrible weather conditions. I'm not making excuses for the boys but it could have been worse. We lost at home to Wakefield last season in the same fixture, and they went on to finish rock bottom.

On the other hand, if we're wanting to finish in the top 4 then these are the fixtures we need to be winning. Game management was poor today. Drop goal should have gone over well before they scored.

Disappointed like everyone else, not least with conceding at the very end of each half which seems to have been a Cas curse for as long as I can remember.
To try to take a positive, HKR only lost twice at home last year & if anything I think they may be a bit stronger this year so perhaps all is not lost. And we've started better than last year!
