Re: George griffin
Who's his agent?
Re: George griffin
The league express article ends: And, with the Tigers exploring numerous options in the transfer market, Griffin has emerged as a serious target for Daryl Powel'ls side as they look to strengthen their squad moving forward"
NUMEROUS options!
And the article is speculative, League Express "understands" according to the League Express "source" It could well be that the "source" is Griffin or his agent looking to build up his profile, encourage other suitors or get a pay rise from Salford!

Re: George griffin
An extra 3 penalties a game for us to give away there then. Penalty after penalty with this lad. If he can clean up that part of his game I dont think he'll be a bad signing.lurcher wrote:no longer a rumour, he's signed.

it's not him giving penalties it is where he commits them, salford fans biggest gripe with him.

There's probably a few more I've missed of the renewals but of those we offered new deals to, which are badly wrong? I know Shenton is divisive but personally, I think he's solid enough and a two year deal is fair dinkum for someone who is relatively solid and who will see out his career at Cas on a contract that probably reduces down.

When we signed him and he was allegedly interesting clubs in Australia the forum was desperate for him to stay. His 2017 form was immense and from what I recall of 2018 it was decent too.
Everyone goes through a bad patch but if you asked people whether they would offer him a new deal mid-way through last year I bet most on here would have said yes.
Shocker to me is an exaggeration and reactionary based on current circumstances and form.

Re: George griffin
Here's that thread. Can't see many people calling it out as a terrible deal then......
https://www.casforum.co.uk/forum/viewto ... =3&t=30685
Like I said, it's reactionary - people are picking faults in Milner because he's probably trying too hard and making mistakes in a side that isn't performing as a whole. Get the whole team on song, get his confidence back and different kettle of fish.

Re: George griffin
To be fair a lot of fans were happy to wave him off as like me they thought foster was playing better anyway.whilst Milner has never been the best player he made up for it in effort and determination that has sadly gone since his pay rise and he is just another average plodder going thru the motionsHuddsTigers wrote:This is the thing. Re: George griffin
Shocker if he has been offered silly money as the last time he played well was Wire away last season. He has been noticeably poor in so many games since. Retrospectively a bad deal but I agree after 2017 not so. For most of last year and all of this he has not warranted a new deal.HuddsTigers wrote:This is the thing. Re: George griffin
Last good game Milner played was semi final v saints. Not played good since and as become a penalty machine . The only people saying the Aussies wanted him was his agent and if Wells was daft enough to fall for that god only knows what recruitment he as lined up.
