George griffin
Re: George griffin
You’d think that experiencing the improvement they bring to other teams might change his views on the matter, could be a really easy fix to our shortcomings

Re: George griffin
If this is the case it demonstrates that money is not an issue and DP just doesn't want to upset the applecart, which I find strange as all players earn differing salaries any way.

Re: George griffin
I think it's why Wells did that interview at the end of last season where he said there was a couple of hundred quid left on the cap and they were using "every possible exemption".

Re: George griffin
Apparently there’s a show called 80 minutes.
On there it was said Griffin is not coming to us, anyone hear it.
I didn’t hear it, just what I’ve seen someone say.

Surely from DP as its him who will decide who we want to sign.tigerfeat wrote:Absolutely John wells getting in the neck and he's following orders be looks
His choices will be governed by cap space.
Who decides what players are paid ?

Re: George griffin
From what I remember; Powell tells Wells positions of need, Wells goes back to Powell with a list of potential players available then Wells discusses contracts with players Powell picks.fords wrote:Surely from DP as its him who will decide who we want to sign.tigerfeat wrote:Absolutely John wells getting in the neck and he's following orders be looks

There will be no blockbuster signings until end of 2020 surely when some of the big earners come off contract and may not get another (Milo, Moors, Cook to name a few)
The club have said before were almost full on the cap and DP will not use the marquee signing.
I have no idea what our players earn but id imagine it gone something like this
Gill and Egodo pays for Olpherts
Maher and Clark pays for Griffin
100k extra cap will have mostly gone on Feki (assuming its true he's signed)
What was left on the cap and from the 100k above pays for Hepi
Aston and Clarkson may or may not go who knows.
Presuming unless we can move Clare and Ellis on, who someone on here said they have been told they can find another club im not sure what else were going to see this year.
