Re: The return of the mak
Hope not. Meeks has years left in him but won't get a shot at England with whitehead and Bateman in front of him who are both based in oz under the nose of the England manager.

Any truth that Adrian lam is not keen on hardacre at full back and he’s trying to bulk him up to play loose forward.

Why, is Lam replacing Powell and bringing Hardaker with him?old cas lass wrote:Any truth that Adrian lam is not keen on hardacre at full back and he’s trying to bulk him up to play loose forward.

Hardaker to replace Sean o’lauchlan .
Just summat I’ve heard.
Re: The return of the mak
If that's right I suspect Hardaker would want out. The most naturalmy gifted English full back of his generation been shifted to loose forward in his peak years!old cas lass wrote:Flat Capper wrote:Why, is Lam replacing Powell and bringing Hardaker with him?old cas lass wrote:Any truth that Adrian lam is not keen on hardacre at full back and he’s trying to bulk him up to play loose forward.

I agree. It’s ridiculous, don’t blame him if he wants out.KB80 wrote:If that's right I suspect Hardaker would want out. Though it’s only a rumour.
It did come from a die hard Wigan fan, so take it as you will.

Hardaker himself????
Don’t forget he’s “ALWAYS been a Wigan fan” according to his interview with Brian Carney.......
I don’t understand why anyone would want him back at Cas after he royally shafted his teammates, his coach and staff plus the club and supporters and disturbing the Applecart to an extent that it cost the club their chance (their only chance to date) of a GF victory.....
If he’d shown contrition and loyalty, I’d understand people wanting him back but he continued to be a clown even after Cas got him a job to tide him over!
Powell doesn’t strike me as someone who suffers fools gladly, so I can’t imagine him welcoming such a disruptive and divisive individual back into the fold.
Re: The return of the mak
Powell would have him back quicker than you could say Jack Robinson you might be right about a lot of our supporters not wanting him tho ...

Powell ,the players all wanted him back and zak wanted to go back so where did go wrong.
Re: The return of the mak
Pie eaters offered him about 20 -25 grand a year more to sign for them I would guess at ...

Ask steve gill what happened
Re: The return of the mak
Are we daft enough to pay £150,000 for a player, then sack him for getting caught on drugs, to then buy him back or come to some sort of deal to re-sign him with a player swap? Surely not, but you never know.
I would love to see him back by the way where as others will not. All down to personal preference... I do think Zak and Luke were the architect's of our 2017 success and would love to see that style of rugby again.
Can't see it happening but like i said, we are Cas and I've learnt now to expect the unexpected.
As above, Steve Gill was obviously something to do with it, hence his timely exit from the club round the time of the Zak saga.

By sacking zak we saved 18 months of his wages minus the months it took to come to a decision, id guess we saved at least 100k.
