This is the reason he won't go.Casmoley wrote:True about Watts but heard he has said no due to his kids.
The NRL club who offered him the alleged 2 year deal are a million years ahead of us squad quality wise.

Re: Liam Watts
Who could begrudge Wattsy a tilt at the NRL if the rumour is true? He’s been immense for us in the short time he’s been back & if I’m being completely honest he’d be a fool to sign another deal at Cas. It pains me to say it, but he deserves to be playing in a better team with a better set up & genuinely challenging for top honours.

Re: Liam Watts
With George Burgess leaving souths at the end of the year, he's be an adequate replacement for me. And then watts back after his contract is up.Casmoley wrote:duke street 10 wrote:This is the reason he won't go.Casmoley wrote:True about Watts but heard he has said no due to his kids.

It gives watts the chance to test himself and us a quality front rower.

At this moment in time Watts won't leave for Oz he will miss his kids. Besides think George Burgess will end up at Headingley.mart0042 wrote:With George Burgess leaving souths at the end of the year, he's be an adequate replacement for me. Re: Liam Watts
Leeds would make Burgess a marquee player but he'd probably get more over there. I can't see him playing ageist his brothers though.
For what is worth if people who know watts are saying he won't
go, then that's probably the case. We shouldn't want him to leave, he's a local kid who is playing his best rugby.
