Tautai and Westerman not exactly gonna add much to the squad
Re: Tautai
Well they are both props but that's where the similarities end. Clark is superior in every facet, hence why Wigan want him to replace Tautai.jackknife wrote:Dp likes him n tried to sign him before didn't he? Straight replacement for Clark not much between them imo

Re: Tautai
What does it say about the club that we haven't developed a big, aggressive starting or bench prop since Huby? (and no don't include Maher)!.
It would be a truly awful signing. How many of our pack would be over 30 if came aboard?

Re: Tautai
Would be a terrible signing.
Not DP'S kind of player. He has no stamina or durability. So a strange one.
Idle chatter hopefully.

Re: Tautai
I suspect (and hope) this is just laziness from journalists looking for a story to fill a page. Wigan fans have been linking him with us for weeks because they want rid (and partly because of the Clark news I'd imagine).
Can't see us going for him but you never know.

But it's that very reason that luke Thompson is so highly regarded. No fear, runs in hard and puts himself in harms way.lurcher wrote:i actually think he has everything needed to be a good sl prop apart from a brain.
Its all really you ask from a prop. Imagine what gadwin could have been like. Big will maher might still have a chance.

Re: Tautai
If we sign Tautai at this time in his career it will rank along the likes of Davis Wheeldon Crossly Green Bailey Patric to name a few middle men not good enough or past there best on signing the demise of our academy in producing first team players that have claimed a first team place regular over the last six years is nothing short of criminal in my opinion

Just please god no
Re: Tautai
Bit harsh only Wheeldon. Did a decent job for us. Played most games in the season that so us go from basement dwellers to cup finalist and a win away from winning the league.Johnlewis1920 wrote:If we sign Tautai at this time in his career it will rank along the likes of Davis Wheeldon Crossly Green Bailey Patric to name a few middle men not good enough or past there best on signing the demise of our academy in producing first team players that have claimed a first team place regular over the last six years is nothing short of criminal in my opinion
