Worst journo in world. To even suggest Warrington is laughable and makes it rubbish. They will be paying best part of 500k for there halves next year. Why would they want Gale who will also want over 100kHuddsTigers wrote:Dave Nosey Parker links us with Theo Fages.
Also says Leeds, Toronto and Warrington want Luke Gale.

Re: Theo Fages
Fages is a very good player but even allowing for his injurys it would be a massive call to sell Luke Gale he's been the architect behind all cas have done well since he arrived at the club

Re: Theo Fages
Fages is younger, not coming off 2 years of injury and is improving all the time. Gale has a better kicking game.
If they can get 150k for Gale though...

Re: Theo Fages
Fages isn't half the player that a fit gale is for me but in saying that Fages is better than gale not playing. If we want gale to leave then it has to be for quality. Fages isn't that for me.

Re: Theo Fages
Apples and pears is this one.
Fages is an opportunistic player, great little rugby brain, always scanning and ready to take advantag. All he needs is one chance and he'll punish you. Good ball runner.
Gale is the brains of the organisation, everything goes through him. We'd be losing that leadership and organisation as well as 15+ assists a season.
For me it's a no no. I'd only have Fages if it means he was partnering Gale. However, I can't wait to see how Trueman and Gale go when fit.

Re: Theo Fages
This would depend on whether Gale is going to come back the same player after a couple of serious injuries on the trot. If the medical info says he is going to be 100% then we would be mad to consider letting him go. But if the medical staff have big doubts then if we can get a nice fee and a good replacement for him then it's worth looking at.

To ask somebody to come back and play like he did in 2017 after been out for 2yrs is a big ask.The Firm wrote:This would depend on whether Gale is going to come back the same player after a couple of serious injuries on the trot. Saints want to keep him. NRL clubs are interested in him. Why would he end up at Cas?!

Luke Gale won't be leaving.
However. If he was and there was a large fee for him. There is only one half in the league who should replace him. And that would be Jackson Hastings. Anyone else and it wouldn't cut it.

Re: Theo Fages
to be fair to tigersbarmy i did hear from DP that we were still talking to gelling and still hoping to land him for 2020. however he is a maverick and was "proving difficult to tie down"
jo brand is eddie warings love child
Re: Theo Fages
Why get gelling now we have signed Blair makes no sense unless he is going to play on wing. Fages would be an awesome signing but why sign rankin for next year and some please don't say to play full back [-X ](*,) the guy cudnt catch a cold and is slower than Clare running backwards on a bad day.
