Re: Rangi Chase
Because Chase cannot sign for anyone until after his ban has finished. Therefore, how has he signed for Lock Lane? The Fox wrote:Why??Fumper27 wrote:What a dickSpy in the stands wrote:Signed for Lock Lane.

Re: Rangi Chase
It's true, once his ban is up, he has said he's going down to play for Lock Lane in the NCL. He was supposedly going down to Normy Knights (coached by Oli Holmes) but has been persuaded to play for Lane.
Even if his ban ends in July, there will still be a fair bit of the season left for him to play. Would be a very high profile signing for amateur rugby.

Didn't Wigan sign Zak before his ban was up?Fumper27 wrote:Because Chase cannot sign for anyone until after his ban has finished. Therefore, how has he signed for Lock Lane? The Fox wrote:Why??Fumper27 wrote:What a dickSpy in the stands wrote:Signed for Lock Lane.

Doubt what you want, it's what he's been telling folk down at Lane. Can only go on what he's saying.Nobody wrote:Highly doubt that.

Not necessarily the best player or my favourite, but in terms of raw talent and actual magic, pound for pound the best I have seen in black and amber.Dixie D wrote:Love Rangi, hope he is finally content with himself.

Re: Rangi Chase
living in Normy I thought he would have signed for the Knights , I can see him being snapped up by one of the professional clubs too good a talent to play amateur

Re: Rangi Chase
Agree that he's too good for amateur rugby, but maybe he can't handle the pressure of playing professionally though? Working a regular job but playing amateur on a Saturday afternoon may just suit him. Whatever he decides to do, I wish him all the best and hope he sorts everything out to be happy. If he does end up playing amateur, whichever club he signs for will have great marketing material to get decent crowds through the gates. Lets be honest, most of us would nip down to Normy or Lock Lane to watch him.gateman wrote:living in Normy I thought he would have signed for the Knights , I can see him being snapped up by one of the professional clubs too good a talent to play amateur
Re: Rangi Chase
Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at somebody like York. Playing Semi pro and getting paid pay as you play is his best option. Win bonus of roughly £400 as well in the championship. So would top his wage up from his warehouse job quite nice.
