Maybe English but would still take up a quota spot due to playing his junior RL in Oz.

Not a hope that it would happen, but imagine the potential increase in season tickets if it did

Can't see Powell agreeing to pay a marquee players wage. Would upset the team too much, imagine Luke Gales tantrum :P

It’s a funny one is that, unless it’s paper talk.

It says he spent the off season in Halifax and didn't want to go back to Australia
Id guess he ends up at Wigan

Only wire,Wigan,Leeds could afford the huge wages he would demand. Class player would be fantastic at full back for us but out of our price range marquee player or not.

He's on $1m over 3 years in Oz. That's about £565k over here. That's around $330k a year in Oz and around £188k a year UK. To be fair, that's not exactly expensive for an England International and a player of his calibre, considering Tyrone Roberts was on £350k at Warrington and was god awful.

Isn’t he on $1,000,000 per year for the next three years??
