Trueman is without doubt a quality player and a loss. Ellis to the bench, roberts at 6?

Ellis to the bench is wasted.Mysterio wrote:If we’re all honest, we were maybe wondering whether Roberts may offer that tiny bit more taking the line on and his running game. I know I was.

Rather McShane go into the halves with Milner going to 9 and putting 4 forwards on bench if Roberts/Gale get hurt.
Re: Trueman injury?
Trueman always takes the line on and quite often beats it n gets to the try line an even for a young lad Trueman seems to demand the ball more than Roberts does whos just happy to let Gale get the ball 75% of the time.Mysterio wrote:If we’re all honest, we were maybe wondering whether Roberts may offer that tiny bit more taking the line on and his running game. Re: Trueman injury?
Terrible luck for young trueman had a terrific season just got on with it when he was thrown in at full back then when he was back in his normal position showed what a talent he is going to be
Him and gale playing all season in the halfs next year together something to look forward too

Says on Cas web that it's a protective cast and they are hopeful he will be ok for the semi - final.Swagger wrote:Picture of Trueman accepting his award with a pot on his hand......
Re: Trueman injury?
Really hope he gets to play. He deserves to be there for everything he's done this season. Can't wait for him and Gale to get a full pre season together and nothing would be better than seeing a young lad like Truey walking out at Old Trafford a week on Saturday if we get there.sparky49 wrote:Says on Cas web that it's a protective cast and they are hopeful he will be ok for the semi - final.Swagger wrote:Picture of Trueman accepting his award with a pot on his hand......

Castleford Tigers boss Daryl Powell says Jake Trueman gone for a scan on his hand today but still hopeful he'll play and Michael Shenton has trained so hoping he'll be in.

Re: Trueman injury?
It could be a suspected scaphoid fracture. A small bone in the wrist which may be fractured from a fall on the outstretched hand. The fracture isn't always visible on initial x rays so its standard practice to err on the side of caution & put the wrist in a cast and re-x ray or scan a week or two later.

Re: Trueman injury?
Given how many we have spare, I'm surprised Trueman hasn't got a moon boot on his hand instead of a cast.
In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!

You have to assess every individual case. Plus let's face it his medical advice will be lightyears ahead of what mine was.
