taulima tautai
Was speaking to a players agent J. Hatton and he told me Wigan looking for a new prop as we are close to signing Tautai. He mentioned it’s to be announced for next season. Apparently wants out of Wigan as all is not well. Huddersfield and Catalans approached him too but we seem to have won the battle. Hope he didn’t watch last nights match lol
All coaching is, is taking a player where he can't take himself.

Hopefully a load of tosh. He's a 10 minute player who makes a mistake 50% of the time. Springer is better.

Noooooooo.........
Re: taulima tautai
Does he play full back  ](*,) :-k

Maybe Powell wants a bit of agression we have the best forwards in the league but not one of them is nasty.

Watts has been very poor since signing in my opinion. Not aggressive to say the least, runs side wards more than forwards and likes to throw silly passes/offloads.
Re: taulima tautai
1 will have to force myself to watch the game again my impression was wattsy kept trying to the end and ran it in hard especially in the last 15mins when others seemed to have accepted a defeat
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have

Don’t think they did accept defeat in the last 15. They tried really hard but nothing came off

it's still the reason we brought him in. Friday was the first time I've seen him lose his head in a Cas shirt when Kendall called a knock on against him. Massey told him to calm down and a set later he was hooked off.

Do you honestly believe we have the best forwards in the league sorry to disagree but we are far from being the best saints Catalans and even Huddersfield have shown to be better.Mucky1978 wrote:Maybe Powell wants a bit of agression we have the best forwards in the league but not one of them is nasty.

Re: taulima tautai
A agree with his comment we as a side have one of the best set of forwards in the league by a mile. Our forwards are the reason that we our in the top 4. The halfs and backs have been average at best, our style of play due to injurys have relayed on us battering teams down the middle and majority of the tries we scored have been our forwards .. hence why they are one of the best in the leagueOldcasman wrote:Do you honestly believe we have the best forwards in the league sorry to disagree but we are far from being the best saints Catalans and even Huddersfield have shown to be better.Mucky1978 wrote:Maybe Powell wants a bit of agression we have the best forwards in the league but not one of them is nasty.

seen we are after a prop centre full back. If he releases Gadwin we have lost Gadwin Green also Bustin who was training with us. Still plenty in the team but Millo & Moors getting on now.

Re: taulima tautai
Powell has tried signing him twice before so he obviously likes him as a player.
But hey if the experts on here have already decided he's the new scapegoat...

He wants to leave the club, they were happy to beat Cas' offer last year to keep him...fords wrote:If hes that good Wigan wouldn't let him goTheSheriff wrote:Powell has tried signing him twice before so he obviously likes him as a player.

you could say that about anyone. We could sign Ponga and you'd say Newcastle wouldn't let him go if he was any good..
Re: taulima tautai
Personally think he is better than most of our other impact subs incl springer & cook and maybe Massey, but might not make the 17
I'd be concentrating on the backs. If only we could unearth another Ellis & Blackmore
