Recruitment
Re: Recruitment
I know that we’ve pushed the boat out and signed some good quality, but I just can’t see us being able to get Lineham over the line. Just doesn’t sound right.? Where’s it come from.l

Re: Recruitment
Not massively sold on Lineham. Need another centre and prop as priorities more than another winger.

Re: Recruitment
If we sign him I would play him at centre not wing. Big tall and strong.RonnieGibbs'forearm wrote:Not massively sold on Lineham. Need another centre and prop as priorities more than another winger.

Just what I was told today pal hence it being in the rumour section. Then again, lad who told me was the one who hit the nail on the head RE Garry LoMysterio wrote:I know that we’ve pushed the boat out and signed some good quality, but I just can’t see us being able to get Lineham over the line. Re: Recruitment
He’s an out and out winger to me, have you ever seen him pass? I’ve seen 5 year olds with a better passing technique.westerbeast wrote:If we sign him I would play him at centre not wing. Re: Recruitment
Zak couldn't pass the ball apparently when we signed him soon learned how to few weeks down lane lol
No he's a out and out winger and a very good one in my book

Re: Recruitment
Physically got the attributes- big, strong and some pace but seems lazy, lacks concentration. I wouldn't be impressed tbh.derbystiger wrote:He’s an out and out winger to me, have you ever seen him pass? Re: Recruitment
I did put on here a while ago when some one mentioned lineham.
when we played them in the watersplash game early in the season he was having some great banter with the cas fans and was genuinely bursting out laughing. seemed to be really enjoying it. a bit like when macca was playing for wakey against us and spent most of the 2nd half laughing and joking with us before moving clubs. think tom could be a revelation with us and he knows it.

Re: Recruitment
He always held his form last year when warrington were struggling when I saw him like to see that in a player agree tho lurcher best would still be to come from him if he arrives down lane

Re: Recruitment
If minikin is the replacement for webbo, lineham would be a good option.

Re: Recruitment
Alex Foster should be the replacement for Webster.
We are very strong in the back row department. And he has to play. Still aspects of the game to learn positionally. But he's young enough.

Re: Recruitment
No way, OK filling in occasionally but he is a back rower and a good one at that. Lets get a quality centre in if Jake is finishing.dettoriman wrote:Alex Foster should be the replacement for Webster.

Re: Recruitment
This season has shown we need every body we can get in the pack.
Millo/Watts/Cook/Moors/Clark as props
Holmes/McMeeken/Foster/JSL/Wardle as back-rowers
Milner/Massey as loose forwards
Maher and Douglas unknown where their future lies.

when will folk learn? Jesse will play in the middle. That's where Powell wants him. Holmes / Wardle left edge. Mcmeeken/ Fozz right edge.
Powell will go with 3 props on the bench and a loose forward.
8 Watts
10 Millo
11 Holmes / Wardle
12 Mcmeeken
13 Milner
14 Jesse
15 Junior
16 Fozz / Massey
17 Cook / Clark
if Maher and Douglas go I'd like to see 1 more prop.
Re: Recruitment
I would honestly let Holmes go if it meant two HQ players brought In

Re: Recruitment
outstanding today. Only worry is being able to do it on a consistent basis. Would be a good squad player but like Jy takes a quota spot.tigerfeat wrote:What you think about qlt Moley I thought he was good today looks to be loving it at cas
Re: Recruitment
Why would we want to get rid of Holmes n why would Holmes want to leave? What a strange comment isn't Holmes under contract for another year or 2?Mysterio wrote:I would honestly let Holmes go if it meant two HQ players brought In

Re: Recruitment
Holmes is getting better and better. He's been in and out of the team and his form has suffered. Was good yesterday by all accounts and his try showed real pace. A Cas lad we should be keeping, I think he's got a 2 year deal.jackknife wrote:Why would we want to get rid of Holmes n why would Holmes want to leave?
