always liked mellor and he does well in a poor team. what would worry me is that he's had that knee heavily strapped for 2 years now and often finishes the game limping.
Heard Mellor is Warrington bound next season, possibly a replacement for Brown.

Outs:
Springer will go (95% sure).
Webster could be off. Sounds 50/50
Roberts may go if anyone comes in for him and a deal to suit us and the year he has left can be met (think it could be long odds though).
Can't remember the other players out of contract now Milner et al have signed.
Ins:
A centre and/or a fullback will come in (again if any are available and interested then that's 95%+ for me).
I think we will get another forward too. Likely from any relegated team.

What about gil dudson from widnes, if the money's right. I could see him being a "DP" type of player to replace green and springer. Always liked him and aggressive, could be a good addition off the bench.

Looks like either or both Salford and widnes facing relegation, who is better from the forwards than gil duds on if the money is right? I think kopczak will be in demand and will demand a big salary, is it worth paying big for someone who might not even get in our starting 17?
If we are in the market for a prop lets not go and get 2 mediocre players, rather someone who is going to put pressure on the starting props and give competition to Clark too who I think has been an amazing piece of business, same type of signing as foster and I'm hoping Clark will be featured heavily next season.
I just think if Clark has competition then it will raise his game to another level, if we go cheap signing and big will as back up I can't see the competition there unless injury.

Clark was considered a cheap signing when we got him and il be amazed if Salford arnt in the top three in that league

Squad depth is proving so important. It's a difficult choice. We still seem to go for developmental projects/misfits/journeymen/longshots in the forward recruitment and not huge names. I imagine that school of thought will continue.

I believe the answer in this conversation is simply "Yes, that is correct" rather than arguing backwards and forwards. ;)
