if its Mata'utia for Webster then we will have no FB still

If Mata'utia plays FB then we need a centre as i'm sure Webster will be off

Maybe that could be a good fit for him to look at doing a similar thing to Liam Finn next season with his dual role between Newcastle and Wakefield? Jake could play for Bradford but work in a part time off field role at Cas? Just a thought.

any body think its time for minikin to slot in at centre for next season. I think we signed him as a centre and he covered the season shenny was out. bulked up last close season and if he puts a bit more timber on this year he could be the answer.

100% this, Greg has done a good job on the wing but is a centre and will provide us with much more if moved in off the wing!

What are we now genuinely expecting now in terms of next years signings.

God knows but i hope we have done some deals already all it will be the scraps that are left.

Webster gone
QLT will go

That should free up some space for 2 signings minimum we need.

I genuinely think now we won't recruit anyone except possibly someone from the lower leagues or someone from Widnes. I wouldn't be surprised if we went in for Inu/Gelling as Webster's replacement for a few years.

There's absolutely no movement in the market at the moment. There has been a total of 17 signings for next season including 5 who have already moved or are playing for their clubs, and Hardaker who is returning, and McLelland back from RU

That leaves 11 of which Warrington and Saints account for 3 apiece.

5 of the 17 are also from the Championship or below. We may keep some cap space spare to see if any of the NRL clubs land themselves in a need to get rid of cap space and nab someone earlier on next year.

One good centre to come in or maybe wingman if Powell is wanting to play minikin in centres next year ...and I think hel bring in a forward he usually finds a young player he can work to improve
Gelling yes not inu please

Lineham would make a good centre, big and strong. Suck in some defenders then pass to the wing man for another record breaking try fest

One can dream of

Gelling
Lineham
Abbey

More likely / Are the following worth a look

Hanbury (yes, I know he’s 33 but he could have 3 yrs left to mentor Turner)
Dudson
Chapelhow

& particularly a DP ‘special’ : Wellington Albert

In all of RL I must say that the guy who has got my back up more than most is Anthony ‘hunluggy’ Gelling and I don’t think he gets on with our lot.
