We did that with roberts and look how well that went
Roberts was asked to play out of position. Both Minikin and Wardle wouldn't be.

Fairly sure I’ve seen something from Wardle saying he’s a back rower now not a centre

Exactly, Minikin has played one season in his position which impressed and for that reason he was asked to play out of position for two seasons. Moving back to his first choice position will allow him to use his skill set to his potential.

We are however light in the centre/wing position, one injury will be worrying.

Wardle used to play centre, he doesn’t want to anymore and I don’t think we will ever get the best out of him if he plays there.

Wardle is definitely a 2nd row we have 4/5 quality 2nd rows but only 1/2 centres

The problem i have with minikin playing centre is that he isnt very big and can get pushed and bullied about alot compared to other centers.one time springs to mind agaisnt leeds where ryan hall juat pushed him back over to line with ease and minikin didnt have anything for him thats my worry.we need someone bigger who can dominate in tackles and attack

We need a centre like Webbo who can get us on the front foot when taking a drive from his own 10/20

If Egodo goes on loan to Bradford no call back as I’ve heard a few times then we really are short
