Re: Don Manfredi
Bearing in mind Zak failed a drugs test, then went to play for 3-4 weeks, including scoring in a play off semi, attended both supporters and club awards evenings and then Man Of Steel event before official word. The first rumblings of that rumour came in the week before Wigan away.Mucky1978 wrote:Just can’t see it he wouldn’t of been out with all of them Saturday if true.

Re: Don Manfredi
I should have put a question mark at the end of the that . I've only heard about Eden , haven't heard anything about Manfredi leaving Wigan .
Re: Don Manfredi
Wouldn’t suprise me If Powell walked away if true.
Must be soul destroying to be building a team to win things only for it to keep getting torn apart by drugs.

Re: Don Manfredi
If it’s for breach of contract then it might not necessarily be a failed drugs test. This is going to sound daft, but DP doesn’t like the players having motor bikes & has it written into their contracts that they won’t have one. Eden has a bike & a quad (which he kept hidden - as did Zak) & this has come to light recently so it could be that.
That said, he does hang around with some idiots who do use cocaine so that could be true too.

Re: Don Manfredi
I doubt the club would terminate his contract because unless it was in the same period of the Huddersfield game it would be out of competition and we have had a precedent set of out of competition bans of 8 games (Ben Barba)

Well Eden put on facebook in October that someone had stolen his Quad along with his car so the he's not exactly keeping it quiet putting on social media is it, I'm sure he wouldn't put it out there if he had it written into his contract he wasn't allowed onesteadygetyerboots-on wrote:If it’s for breach of contract then it might not necessarily be a failed drugs test. It just shows you how people put two and two together, people need to stop trying to make something out of gossip and rumour. If there is any truth in it he will be suspended if there is no truth in it then the player has to start defending himself for something he hasn't done hardly fair is it???
Re: Don Manfredi
If it were true Bout Eden I don't think he'd be involved in the family rugby league event on Wednesday night...

Re: Don Manfredi
Regarding Dom Manfredi. He'd be a welcome addition. Not sure if there's any truth in it.

Re: Don Manfredi
Total RL reporting that Wigan have decided to extend Manfredi's contract with them. After being out of the game for so long I do genuinely hope this lad finds the form he was showing before his injury, just not against Cas!
