Re: JSL
All this. He's a stand in prop and we've plenty of second rowers. He is as super as they come but if you were holding the purse strings then what do you do? Who do you release? Who don't you buý? Tricky.....
To finish last in the Tour de France, first you must finish.

Re: JSL
As said. Think he could be the one we have to let go in order to keep everyone else. Watts, Millo, Moors, Massey front row. Holmes, McMeeken, Wardle, Foster, Adz back row.
I'd imagine that when we signed Jesse he was reasonably priced, difficult to see how we could give him the big contract that his agent's undoubtedly looking for.
If he does have to move on, thanks for a great 2017 Jesse.

Re: JSL
I've heard it's a deal already done, JSL to saints, Wilkins to Cas. Now if two people read this and post it anon. onto red V. it will have come from more than one source, therefore be true and would send 'them' into chaos for a change! I know this is a rumour mill but please refrain from turning it into a 'Crap House'.

Re: JSL
One rumour of him leaving and suddenly he's easily replaced.
He will be staying. He's great on and off the field. It just may take a little negotiating if he's better offers elsewhere.

Re: JSL
I will be surprised if he leaves. Unless his agent is asking for ridiculous amounts then I imagine he will be back.
I rate him and the impact he has had, but would't over spend on him.
No chance we would spend money on Wilkin. Aging back rower is the least of our needs.

I will have my house on it that he stays
Re: JSL
What a stupid thing to say as you’re hardly likely to sign over your house should you “lose” that bet...Easy Tiger 2 wrote:I will have my house on it that he stays

Re: JSL
I think he'll stay. He has come half way round the world and found a club that love him, fans love him and he's settled well.
It would be a risk if he left for him and his family, the grass isn't greener and all that.
