but he's been putting in 12 hour shifts with 5 star cleaning and has realised how lucky he is to be getting another chance of a well paid job at wigan.Fumper27 wrote:He can’t be paid by Wigan until 7th NovemberSpanishtiger wrote:Anyone find it strange that a bloke on a 6 figure salary can't afford to insure or MOT his car?
Have to catch the bus now which will somewhat limit his options.

Re: Hardaker
I like the proper sport and 40/20 stuff but turned off after about 10 minutes of that episode. On the bright side at least he won't be getting another driving job any time soon.

If Wigan sack him off hands up who'd have him back at cas ...

After what he did to the club, and the numerous times he's proved he can't keep out of trouble, definitely not.tigerfeat wrote:If Wigan sack him off hands up who'd have him back at cas ...

Though with more clauses than a Father Christmas convention.
I still think he's doing his best to get out of the Wigan deal. But I have read he's done 9 tests for drugs and has passed every one over the 13 week time frame
However he's playing a very dangerous game.....he wanted us to match the 10k a month salary. So if he gets binned by the Warriors who will touch him at that price?
Leeds won't
Wakey haven't the money
Saints sorted
Warrington sorted
Catalan sorted
Pearson/Radders ditched Watts for far less
Toronto possible but Canadian authorities might be a big stumbling block.
Very Limited options unless its all fabricated....
However he is in need of a lot of help/Councillng and needs it soon.
Re: Hardaker
You see it quite regularly you only have to look at Ant Macpartlin (sp) it appears to be laziness, can't be arsed waiting for a taxi, it can't be money in cases like this. My brother got done for DD twenty years since, drunk twenty pints at £X per pint but decided £3 for a taxi was too costly. F******* idiots!Spanishtiger wrote:Anyone find it strange that a bloke on a 6 figure salary can't afford to insure or MOT his car?

And as for the last line, not a hope in hell, MC works very differently to that, you've only to look at his stance with Tim Smith and Kevin Locke prior to one of the biggest games in the clubs history so you can put the Daiwa away.

Re: Hardaker
As a Cas fan this is so frustrating.
Zak at fullback, peanut in the centres, great half backs, great hooker and pack, I could go on. Injury free we'd storm the league.
After the bad press, final debacle, financial loss etc we've taken the moral high ground. If Steve Gill lost his job for this, his knockers should hang their heads in shame.
I find no pleasure in Zaks downfall even if it causes Wigan a similar fate.

I hear you Mart that frustration is also disappointment. We'd have arguably the best spine in the league and the talent skills know how and flair to destroy any derence.

Re: Hardaker
Yes it's good but with saints adding naquima and coote we need either a fullback or centre I think.fords wrote:ButERG2012 wrote:I hear you Mart that frustration is also disappointment. We'd have arguably the best spine in the league and the talent skills know how and flair to destroy any derence.

I fully agree Ford's and I have to say twinkle toes Matautia is a class act. Though stick him in the centre with that spine on our left....fords wrote:ButERG2012 wrote:I hear you Mart that frustration is also disappointment. Yes all of them by the looks of it.lurcher wrote:has zac made headlines in any of todays papers?
Looking at it today i think Wigan will stick by him. Come Oct 11 Wigan will (again) have an expensive brief who will probably plead mental health issues (not the more believable drink problem and rank stupidity & arrogance).
No licence will strangely help Wigan...it will be harder for him to go back & forth over the pennines during the season. Get ready for a laughable outcome from the courts.
Re: Hardaker
I think they’ll stand by him too, unless folks kick up a stink pestering and goading lenagan and the club on social media etc
I think it’s all very strange, no tax mot insurance etc etc. Almost like J R Ewing has had involvement in a smear campaign

Re: Hardaker
Can anyone confirm if the car he was driving was actually his car and not just got in his mates assuming it was taxed n tested, like already said seems a bit strange/stupid for him to not have a taxed n tested car and to be knowingly driving it while under the influence.
