We have sacked him though. That means severing any ties/obligations/control/responsibilities from either party.TT Tiger wrote:Maybe we have retained his playing registration for the length of time of the contract as we are untitled to do and if nobody buys his registration he can only play for us for the 4 years that he signed for.

Re: Hardaker
Recent photos I’ve seen of him look like he’s put on a bit of timber too. He might go down the Tyson Fury route over the next 2 years if he lacks dedication.

Interesting if true. When was the hearing then?Scoopage wrote:Hearing 14 month ban so can play again in August
How do you work out August after 14 months though? Do you mean August 2019?

If true then would be available to begin training End of Dec2018/start of Jan 2019.Scoopage wrote:Hearing 14 month ban so can play again in August
I doubt it is true. Think it is more likely 18 months minimum.

If there’s nothing on him how did he fail.lurcher wrote:I heard its 14 months and to be announced Monday. seems the dope test squad had nothing on him but cas shopped him and said he'd admitted every thing.
Also the club and Zak need to take WADA to book if they got it wrong.
Both party’s were affected by an incorrect results, that’s if they are incorrect.
Cas disrupted due to Zak being banned for the grand final, Zak having his name dragged into the gutter. Defamation of character.

Re: Hardaker
Hardaker admitted guilt by way of his public statement/apology. Can't see there being accurate truth in it.old cas lass wrote:If there’s nothing on him how did he fail.lurcher wrote:I heard its 14 months and to be announced Monday. seems the dope test squad had nothing on him but cas shopped him and said he'd admitted every thing.

Re: Hardaker
This saga has gone on that long, have Cas sacked Hardaker. If he does get only 14 months who will he be playing with?
Re: Hardaker
LOL just read what you have put again.lurcher wrote:I heard its 14 months and to be announced Monday. seems the dope test squad had nothing on him but cas shopped him and said he'd admitted every thing.
Why is he going to get 14months if they have nothing on him?
Why would Cas shop him in?
Why would zak admit it publicly if he hadn't failed a test?
Why would wada ban him for nothing ?
Re: Hardaker
Zak is free to join any team. Can't see him back at Cas after his ban.
Re: Hardaker
We know he is. He hasnt got a team right now as he was sacked for failing a test done by WADA.InTheKnow wrote:Zak is free to join any team. Can't see him back at Cas after his ban.
Who knows who and when he will play with next. It may be Cas its clear he was happy with us untill last Oct. Guess it depends if we want him back first of all.
Re: Hardaker
He will have sign for wigan i expect they could announce it anytime after today if his ban comes out tomorrow

the stumbling block is money. despite the trouble he's been in some clubs will stay pay him a very good wage, cas would probably offer him 50-60% of his last wage as it would clearly be another risk.

Re: Hardaker
Don't see how it's a risk. If it happens again he's sacked again. And not paid anymore. The risk last time was the 150 grand we shelled out for him which wouldn't be applicable nowCasmoley wrote:fords wrote:We know he is. Re: Hardaker
Can’t see cas touching him with a barge pole.
Doubt Zak will want to come back after the club said he showed no remorse.
Let some else have him and his baggage.

the risk is the club being a laughing stock if it happened again.
