Re: Akuila Uate
Huddersfield have signed him
In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!
Re: Akuila Uate
Shame and bit disappointed that we didn't go in for him. Bet he would command a hefty contract though.

Re: Akuila Uate
Why? He's old, expensive and half the player he used to be.Crapbag wrote:Shame and bit disappointed that we didn't go in for him. Bet he would command a hefty contract though.
Massive waste of cap & quota space for Cas.
Re: Akuila Uate
If I was going to chuck a load of money at A winger it would be Ryan Hall who's ooc at end of season.

Nice dream while it lasted.
Re: Akuila Uate
if he’s not good enough for Leeds he isn’t good enough for Cas!KB80 wrote:If I was going to chuck a load of money at A winger it would be Ryan Hall who's ooc at end of season.

Re: Akuila Uate
Think hall needs to be playing in the pack now. He's too big and slow for a winger. But with his size and pace he has now would be awesome in the 2nd row

Re: Akuila Uate
I know they've signed Uate as a marquee player but who else. Brough's a close to retirement and their only good forward is Ikahihifo. They have youngsters coming through but let their best go in Connor.lurcher wrote:building a strong squad for next year at shudds.

Re-signed Mamo and Jake Wardle other week.

Re: Akuila Uate
Resigns don't really count to build next years squad. Wardle isn't really a top quality player, yet I might add.

Just seen they are hoping to sign Jackson Hastings from manly. That'd be a coup, if they are up to salary cap he'll take them well over.

He must have deep pockets, he's getting on a bit I wonder if he's got family to keep up his enthusiasm like Jack did.nottinghamtiger wrote:Easy answer to that one - Ken Davy!chesterfieldtiger wrote:I just don't get where their money comes from cos it ain't crowds
