Re: Jamie ellis
Why, what?
Re: Jamie ellis
Why have him in the team. Apart from kicking a few goals his contribution is virtually nil. in fact if he hadn't played at Saints i think we would have won. He makes too many mistakes and doesn't create enough. Cory Aston must be wondering if he really is a worse choice than Ellis.

Re: Jamie ellis
Ellis takes so much pressure off Trueman and it means we get the best out of Jake. They were both shocking against Wigan but it is only Jamie that gets all the stick.
Re: Jamie ellis
He's telling his clients in his barbers that he's away at the end of the season.

Let’s hope so, not good enough and way too slow.

Re: Jamie ellis
Its certainly a love hate thing with Ellis, I reckon there are a few who havent forgiven him for showing us his belly at Huddersfield, after the "you fat bas***d chants and his well taken try under the sticks (or thereabouts)Sharlotiger wrote:Ellis takes so much pressure off Trueman and it means we get the best out of Jake. I was over in Hull a few months ago and and a HKR fan informed me that he was heading there...Keithy wrote:He's telling his clients in his barbers that he's away at the end of the season.

Re: Jamie ellis
away at Wigan Jamie was like a rabbit in the headlights, every thing he did was well below the standard of a decent standoff at any level , i cant think of once were he tried to take the line on, shifting the ball on as soon as he received it this not the way of creating gaps for other players to capitalise on, if Jamie is leaving us he goes with my best wishes

Re: Jamie ellis
Abdull and Ellis as a half back pairing would suggest KR are going down an interesting route.....
Re: Jamie ellis
I’d heard he was heading for the championship and going part time.either way I will be surprised if he is still at cas next year
Re: Jamie ellis
Let’s be bloody honest with ourselves here now. I’m getting a bit fed up with certain aspects of the squad and maybe even Daryl to be honest depending on his view point.
Ellis isn’t good enough for us. It’s as simple as that Imo. I’m sorry.
Nice lad, good lad, capable of the odd good game, but no, not good enough for us.
Alongside 3 or 4others, we need a bit of surgery to the squad.

Re: Jamie ellis
Lets keep it in perspective Jamie started the year as our 4th choice half behind Gale, Roberts and Trueman and for someone on a modest contract did a reasonable job in 2018 and unfortunately as missed most of this and is still struggling to find his feet, he as only been back 4 games after a serious injury.Mysterio wrote: ↑16 Sep 2019, 22:23 Let’s be bloody honest with ourselves here now. Until we start to take our juniors seriously we will keep making these juorneymen type signings.
Re: Jamie ellis
Ellis is good enough to be a 4th choice half back which he was signed as its just unfortunate that we have lost gale n roberts since we signed Ellis and he has had to play more than we planned.
CLASSY CAS FOREVER
Re: Jamie ellis
If Jamie stays 4th choice, or even 3rd, fine. No way is he a first choice by any stretch of the imagination.
what doesn't kill me simply makes me...stranger.
Re: Jamie ellis
It’s the salary cap aspect that bothers me.
He won’t be CHEAP ‘cheap’

Re: Jamie ellis
Certainly not the worst half back I've seen at this club, but his inconsistency is a massive worry, even as a back up half. I get nervous when I see him named on the team sheet.
