Standard Wigan tactics. Look out for Flower with some dirty late hits on him off kicks. No penalties given of course.

Thought Jesse did a wonderful job protecting Trueman against Hull last week, so we will need more of the same this week. I shudder to think what Willi Isa in particular will have up his sleeve for him.

Put Liam Watts next to Truman when he’s kicking on the last. There’s nobody in the Wigan team with the balls to hit Jake late if they know Wattsy will be next on the scene.

This is exactly what I said to the one who knocked Trueman earlier in the season. Behind a beaten pack, no half back can be effective. Not even Jonathan Thurston in his pomp could’ve done any better earlier this year than our very own JT did (also with no recognised HB partner).
Hi agree but let's not get carried away yet after one game. Like a expert said a good player will play good eight times out off ten but very promising last week confidence is half off battle
There was one poster on here HTT who always rubbished JT at every opportunity. It was never easy to read those posts that attacked a young lad when he was doing his best at such tender age when we should all be backing him.

Thankfully, he was banned and taken of the forum. Sort off sent of.

The majority of us think JT is a one of. Quite simply one off a kind. We wish we had more off his type.

He could yet lead us to OT. It's what dreams are made off.

If Wigan have come out and said theyre targeting Trueman, then it's time Ellis had one of the games we know he can play once in a while, just give them something else to worry about

Jake won’t play every game like he did against Hull last week, but that’s natural. George Williams has quiet ones, Blake Austin, Jake Connor the same. Difference between all those players and run of the mill players is we know they can.

Jamie Ellis definitely had a game I know he can have...

Can always rely on Jamie. Remarkably consistent.
