Wish Wire had beat Hull as Wire are 6 points in front so pretty much no catching top 2.

Happy for Catalan to beat Wigan as it keeps the chasing pack further adrift.

Great result with Wakefield losing.

next week I think Catalan and and Hull could pull 4 points ahead of us as they play Wakey and Huddersfield and obviously we have Saints.

but then if we get our players back we have a run of games where we could easily start winning plenty of games:
H Huddersfield
H Hull
A Salford
H London
H Leeds
A Wakefield
H Warrington
A Hull KR
H London
A Huddersield

If we can get bodies back for these games theres no reason we cant jump back up to 3rd and be in with a shout.

Pretty impressive scoring at the end Wakey 22 points in six minutes.
Almost but not quite the greatest come back ever.
Did London leave the feild early??

Wakefield seem to play better against top teams and get beat in games they should win maybe disrespect thinking they only have to turn up to win

Huddersfield looked vg today - another side to finish above us?

Unless we improve dramatically, only Hull KR, Leeds & London will finish below us. 4 more wins this season??

Hull were terrible.

We are not going to finish 4th from bottom. Get behind the boys instead of deriding them all the time. They rely on us to give them confidence, not erode it.

Everyone is inconsistent this season - Wakefield and Hull, both sides above or around us, have just lost today. Wakefield got beat by London last week FFS - twice now.

We have beaten Wakefield, Hull, Salford and Catalans already this season and we will get bodies back.

Everyone was writing us off against Leeds and we battered them. There is no use predicting what’s going to happen in 3 months time.

After Saints we have 4 winnable games and we have the ability and quality to win all 4.

Well said, unfortunately the internet gives a voice to every weak, insecure 'fan' with no identity so take it with a pinch of salt. We have a top side when the bodies start coming back, hence the reason we are still up there despite being down to the bare bones for a month.

Totally agree. It’s easy to forget but we have already beaten 8 of the other 11 teams. The only exceptions are Saints, Wire and Huddersfield and the last of those we should have beaten. It’s beyond me why people think we will finish 9th or lower now we have bodies coming back and a string of very winnable fixtures after tonight.
Hope we have a good following tonight. Yesterday at what will be thae Cas end it was rammed with Wire fans and I’m sure the Saints end will be packed tonight. Anfield does give a massive advantage to the teams from that end of the Pennines. I’m still hopeful that we can give Saints a fright tonight even if we can’t pull a win out of the bag.
I don’t expect many neutrals to stay

Agree, IF we get some missing players back. Still have 8 out though ---Shenton, Gale, Ellis, Moors, Holmes, Foster, Massey, JSL. Most of them are either season long or another 4 or 5 weeks away. I was basing my opinion on those long term injuries. Get them back and of course, we can finish in the top 5.

Massey-next game.
JSL-no time.
Shenton-July
Ellis-unknown
Gale-hoping August , but can’t see it myself.
Moors-unknown
Foster-apparently our for season
Holmes-very close

Not sure if all correct, just what I’ve heard in interviews from DP and other reports from jurnos.

Although we will not finish top we certainly will not finish bottom but we must finish within the top five or this season will have been a failure today’s game will not be the deciding factor COYF

Absolutely. We’re going to be significantly outnumbered at Saints extra home game but we’ll make some noise!
