Terrific try saving tackle from peanut in last few minutes that had winning try coming up written all over it

I feared the worst when our kick off resulted in a penalty for Trinity.
Is there such a thing as a first half comeback.
As it has been us who have rallied in the second half in recent games.
Today we were on the receiving end.
However we won.
I was nervous right until the final whistle.
Aston (aka Ashton) played well in attack and defence.
Certainly earned a place for Monday.
God help him if he hadn't.
The nay sayers would be building the gallows
Wakefield had the momentum coming into this one.
I think l was not alone in being a bit nervous about this one.
Peanut chose tonight to miss some of his easier kicks
More injuries to contend with.
Two points in the bag.
On to Catalan.
Happy Easter.

So we should have altered the game plan to play smarter rugby then

Catalans should be with out moa with that late tackle he did was shocking and easy 3-4 match ban from what i saw of it.brilliant 1st half but this time shocking 2nd half.we carnt seem to put together a full 80 minuites ino it hurt us losing 2 players but i think we was very luky to come out off that with 2 points by the end.we really need to try and get players back because we are losing players quicker than we are getting them back and thats hurting us especially now with easter and teams we have to come

Can’t always do that when our forwards were knackered.
We lost a lot of impetus the second half, due to other forwards having to do more minutes.
They were out on there feet.

Not forgetting the amount of yards Kendal gave them from penalties.
Beyond belief.

Anyhow it’s a win, 2 more points on the ladder.
Now on to Catalans.

Down side Jesse having a terrible shoulder injury.
Wish him a speedy recovery.

They were knackered not doubting that but needlessly throwing the ball about with a 14 point lead resulting in errors and extra defending was just unnecessary

Thought Aston and Trueman went well but definitely needed an old head out there in the second half

Thank God Mcshane is back next game

Got out of jail tonight, we started well but dumb play and indiscipline let them back into it and in the end only won it thanks to a great tackle by peanut & Junior. We have to be better than that. JSL a massive loss and sick note Holmes injured again. Really not sure his body is up to it anymore. Thankfully a refreshed McShane is back on Monday.

If that was tonight, the DP panel doesn’t convene until Tuesday.

the reason Wakefield got back into the game is that our forwards were completely burnt out the lose of Oliver and Jesse really hurt us, we were blowing them away when they were fit, just too much work for the rest of them to do, both injury's looked bad down to the bare bones again

McShane has been exceptional this season.
But let's take nothing away from Trueman and Ashton.
It was uncharacteristic, but that old head of Mcshane cost us a win at Headingley.
None the less glad to have him back.
If these three get a chance to operate behind our pack it's going to give us a lot more options than we have had so far this season.
Onward and upwards.

Correct gateman.
We just couldn’t sustain the same intensity with 2 forwards down.
Another 5/6 mins and they’d have had us.
We dug in and got the points.
