It was Powell. Biggest grub at Wigan. That’s awful to watch. Makes me cringe as I had to quit the game through a knee injury. That player (who was it) needs to cop a ban of at least 6 games.

Re: Wakefield H
I was at the Wakey game (don’t ask, corporate freebie) looking at those injuries, from what I saw, England’s looked worst, bad knee injury by the looks of it, he was screaming in pain, he won’t be playing anytime soon, lynne looked bad to, maybe not so bad, but he was carried off, he won’t be playing, Miller limped off but didn’t look that bad, I reckon he might play, Wood looked slightly worse than miller, I reckon he might miss a match or 2, Pauli Pauli should get a ban, he ran at gildarts head with his forearms, it looked pretty bad, he should get a ban for that.... Wigan were the best team in the second half to be honest, I thought Wakey might run up a score, but Wigan rolled their sleeves up, Wakey won’t have had a better chance to beat the pies, did anybody see the Wigan team sheet??? That was surely the weakest team Wigan have fielded in a decade, they had injuries when we played em, but it was even worse tonight I didn’t recognise 6 names and then Hardaker didn’t play, shocking team they put out, but I have to say Gildart and George Williams were on another level, cut Wakey to shreds in that second half, very expensive win for Wakey!!
Re: Wakefield H
If I remember correctly non came back on, that's why we were down to just 13 players for the last fifteen.old cas lass wrote:What were the injuries to the 4 players.JIN JER wrote:Give over, Fifita will play, he did 80 minutes yesterday, it's the four from last night I'm concerned about.tigerfeat wrote:It's started early this year the annual fifita might not play we won't be able to put a team out tripe
How serious are they and did any of them come back on the field.

It's the intent to attack the knee, fifita had already been stoppedsteadygetyerboots-on wrote:Not to defend anything Wigan, but I must be missing something, cos I don’t see anything wrong with that particular tackle. I noticed Tommy Leuliau doing this against us as 3rd man in. Needs to be cut out ASAP!

Not to defend anything Wigan, but I must be missing something, cos I don’t see anything wrong with that particular tackle. Yeah he hits the legs, but the knee bends the right way so I’m not sure what else he can do other than just let fifita do what he wants.
I see the intent to bend the knee (the way it’s supposed to bend) to get a big fella to the floor to prevent him off loading or continuing forward, but I don’t see any intent to injure. I definitely think Wigan sail close to the wind with these types of tackles & because they’re so aggressive in defence it makes it look worse, but in this particular tackle I just don’t see it.

He could have lamed him doing that crap, there's nothing safe or right about it, that's the type of crap that can change your entire life not just a game.steadygetyerboots-on wrote: I see the intent to bend the knee (the way it’s supposed to bend) to get a big fella to the floor to prevent him off loading or continuing forward, but I don’t see any intent to injure. Hitting any part of the knee with that intent and technique is done soley to injure.

Re: Wakefield H
Comprehension skills struggling? Did you miss the word “similar”? Last time I looked similar meant having a likeness to something. The fact that 13/17 of their squad (or 76% in percentage terms) was the same falls into that category, don’t you agree? I never said “same team”.Tigerwood posse wrote:

They may have been missing 4 players but they got 3 back, all of which are good enough to be in their first choice 17 (Powell, Davies and Escare) or would be.
For what it’s worth, I was actually replying (and agreeing) to the post above mine not your own. They had a strong backline against us but the forwards weren’t much to be feared.

Re: Wakefield H
Good god, you are such an arrogant arse!! It isn’t even similar FFS, so just because you can’t admit you’re wrong, you actually think that Powell, Davies & Escare are the same quality as Hardaker (best full back in country at Cas) Greenwood (Ex NRL & was destroying us when he was on the pitch), Manfredi (easily best winger in SL if he could stay injury free) and Sammut ( always been underrated and also was cutting us to shreds before he was injured and taken off), you are such a muppet !!!HuddsTigers wrote:Comprehension skills struggling? Come on guys, please let’s stop this name calling and abuse, everyone is entitled to an opinion! If you disagree with another poster, of course, give your own opinion on the matter, but this should never include personal abuse or profanities.

LMAO
Hardaker (best full back in country at Cas)
But he is not at Cas and hasn't been for 2 years. He has been terrible so for at Wigan
Re: Wakefield H
I wouldn't say hardaker has been terrible at Wigan I'd say he's just done what's needed I think personally if sammut played Wigan would see a whole different and better zak as sammut is a player zak can play off the back of which is why he shined so bright for us.
