Wakefield H

Post by HuddsTigers » 12 Apr 2019, 21:13

Starting this thread early since Wakey are playing tonight. They have lost Lyne and Miller to injuries.

Could really impact on them for next week. Maybe more even in the injury stakes. That being said they are still beating the Pies 28-8.

England and Kyle Wood also off injured now. Sounds like Wakey are getting battered like Wigan did last week.

Wakefield win 30-20. Pauli Pauli also got sinbinned for a hit/hitting Gildart on the hooter so could be another banned.

Both teams on 12 points, Cas stay above them on GD.

Big clash next week now. Top 3 clash. Who would have thought of saying that 3/4 years ago?

All set up for a sell out. Would be a shame if it wasn’t. In fact, I’d say it would be a failure if both Cas and Wakey don’t sell it out.

Wakey fans will be smelling blood so will turn up in numbers. Carter & Chester have put a good squad together that seem capable of covering for injuries.
I think the club announced earlier that there’s only 3,500 tickets left already so should be very close to a sell out.

Hopefully Pauli Pauli gets a ban for punching as well.

If he’s thrown a punch with only 50% of his weight then I feel sorry for whoever he’s hit!

Gildart journos were saying was who he hit and then a coming together with Powell. Don’t know in what context hit was used (late tackle or punching)

Reading some posts on social media this morning and it appears the Polecats have won the SL already. Apparently they are doing it tough with lots of good injuries.

I am just happy that we don’t have anyone injured this season, god forbid what could happen if we did. :liar: :liar: :liar:

So if Milner cops a ban and Millington can't play how do we think we will line up?

Turner
Clare
Minikin
Shenton
Eden
Peanut
Trueman
Watts
O'Neill
Clark
Jesse
McMeekan
Moors

Cook
Smith
Maher
Holmes? Or any of our other injured players due back.

IMO that is shocking. The Wigan lad should be looking at a ban for that. Get's knocked off so decides he'll go in to a standing players planted leg whilst he can't see.

I noticed Tommy Leuliau doing this against us as 3rd man in. Needs to be cut out ASAP!

Got to admit that looks pretty dire,Ano we have a cracking record v wakey over recent years but next Thursday could be tough to keep that going.hopefully a big crowd can pull us through
