More bad management by the dime bar board.

Ellis injured Gale injured Obviously new Roberts was going be let go.

So we send him out on loan for a month.

Couldn’t make it up

Perhaps but that opportunity missed for Corey opens up a door for Turner and I think we can all agree he’s the hotter prospect that we want to see get game time

Correct, I am sure there are more of us that would go with this option every time. Quite clear that Aston has no future even if we are struggling.

Thanks to club saviour that was Steve Gill.

Wouldn't worry tbh he will be gone end of year along with Maher and maybe a few other (or at least they should be)

Waited a long time to be able to drop his shoulder and make a clean break up field then like all good half backs follows his forward through and end up diving under sticks

Solid first game. Couldn't of asked for more. Deserves to keep his spot even though I fear the worst on Monday.

Tackled well.
Kicked well.
Backed up well.
Scored a try.
Not bad debut in anyone's book.
No doubt some will disagree.

Got to agree and got to apologise about Aston. Looked every bit capable tonight. That break in the first half, his try and his defence was excellent.

Well played young man, you deserve the praise tonight.

A lot of people eating their words tonight. Thought he was brilliant in the first half and tough in defence all night

Plenty on here got some humble pie to eat. He was outstanding first half and would have been second half if we’d controlled the ball better. Plenty of mouth, arrogant, confident little scrum half with plenty of ability. Loved the way he was shouting and balling at his forwards and to a man they respected what he was saying!

I've seen enough from Aston tonight to suggest he's a better fit in our team than Rankin. More tenacious in defence and more direct in attack. Can read the game better too by the looks of it, i very much doubt Rankin would of been on the end of the break toll score like Corey did.

I've said it before on this forum, that the lads been chomping at the bit to play Super League and just wants game time. He let no one down tonight.

For two young half backs working together for the 1st time they did well that 1st half.it was good to have an actuall half back playing half back which has let peanut go back to full back where i thort he was brilliant and that last tackle on bjb was outstanding.we seemed to have a good flow on both sides with this setup
