On to hull KR

Post by old cas lass » 25 Feb 2019, 15:30

Just seen Joel Tomkins could be missing on Friday.
He’s picked up a grade D , questioning the refs integrity.

So whats our thoughts on this game.
Should be another win, but you can never take Kr lightly, not a bad team with some decent players.
Keep our defence tight, get some bodies back, can only see 4/4.

No discipline problems for us this week either.

Expecting a tough game, Sheens always comes up with some great attacking plays and will be our toughest test defensively so far.
With us having so many out I fear we may slip up.

Cas win by 18. We should have enough to beat KR but they will be a tough test.
Hope for a big crowd down the Lane. KR always bring a good following. If we got 7k for Catalans I'm hoping for at least 9k this Friday night. Should be a good atmosphere.

When I saw the first few fixtures, before a ball had even been kicked, I thought this would be the hardest game. I still believe that. Hard to judge what sort of Hull KR team turns up. However, they should of beat us last season at home when we drew. They missed 4 drop goal attempts, with McGuire and Drinkwater now in their ranks, they won't make that mistake again.

Going for a low scoring first half but Cas to pull away in the second on the back of big yards from Watts,Jessie and Junior. 22-10 Cas and Eden M.O.M. Att 9,183 (9,184 if the road works in Norfolk have finished)

Hull KR missed an unbelievable 54 tackles against Salford. If that continues on Friday it could be a long night for them. Having said that though they do look good with ball in hand and will probably be our biggest test so far. Should be a cracker in front of a big crowd and I can’t wait!

So Foster and Roberts not minor then if this is true .....

Milner probably wont play neither, he's had a boot on looking at his Instagram

I think having 9 out will be a big leveller and we could easily come unstuck

Backs will stay the same. Forwards going to have to put in big minutes as we only have 2 forwards on bench in Moors and Cook unless we bring in a youngster.

Not sure if Peachey or anybody is available to play. Not sure if O Neil can play loose or wether he is just a number 9. Sure Gateman will know.

I'm sure it said on Sky before London game that Foster had dislocated fingers.
