Re: London next week
Game is being shown on Sky so that will reduce the numbers.

Re: London next week
Seen somewhere last week we’d sold 400 tickets, plus all this coming week for people to buy, I reckon there should be 600/800 down there.
Re: London next week
Dont think we will make same mistake as wakey thinking its going to be easy cas by twenty

Where does it say that it’s on SKY?
It wasn’t originally as far as I know. Has the schedule changed?
Re: London next week
Game has always been on Sky since they initially announced the live games

Re: London next week
Me and the old gal are stopping at the Greenford Hotel Premier Inn Friday and Saturday a 20 min stroll to the ground, anybody else stopping there? Those that are going, where are people planning on having a drink before the game are you going straight to the ground? The Duke of Earl is just up the road but it's said to be a little pricey but there is very little choice otherwise. There is also a big pub right next to our Greenford Hotel.

I know pal. That’s why I’m confused as to why someone’s claiming it wasn’t!!lurcher wrote:13 of our first 18 games are on sky. we must play attractive rugby on our postage stamp sized ground.Fumper27 wrote:Game has always been on Sky since they initially announced the live games

Re: London next week
Like our pitch, they can leave the telephoto lens at home and still get close ups.
Re: London next week
How will having a week off prepare us for next week??
London play this week so will this tire them out or help them?
We can't think it's going to be easy. We all know what they did to Wakey in rd1. Scoring 8 tries I believe so they have the threat and their astro pitch will help them for sure.
I expect Powell to have us ready and will grab a win. Not convincing but a win.
Main issue is not to pick up injuries on their pitch as we are already in a bad place.
Do we go with 4 forwards on the bench adding Clarkson and Cook for Clark and a back?
Did Roberts earn himself a centre spot pushing Minikin or Clare out or does he stay as super sub adding pace to a tired looking game??
So many questions. Can't wait for this game. Setting off at 10am.

Re: London next week
Ignoring the blooper I made in my earlier comment in this topic, The Duke of Kent (not Earl) looks to be the only drinking place, other than the ground itself, in the vicinity. It's off Scotch Common a 5 to 10 minute walk from the ground by the looks of it. If anybody knows of anywhere else?Stokesey wrote:Where is the best pub near the ground for meeting
