He's been putting it on faceboook, maybe a cry for help. Hope Cas can get in touch with him and help in some way. Some players have nothing after Rugby League, even coaching probably didn't fulfil him enough as playing did.nottinghamtiger wrote:Fair point. But you’re right, I shouldn’t assume.casjunction wrote:Message's of support and concern can be therapeutic.
Dean you gave us many great memories.
Be gentle with yourself.

The game prides itself on provision for support for mental health. Let's see it. Get behind Deano.

Re: Dean Sampson
Good luck mate. You will not be able to fully appreciate this at the moment but there are hundreds of family and friends around close by who want to help you.
There are hundreds, probably thousands, more who love the black, amber and white and hold you in high esteem. We are thinking of you and wish you well. You gave us many great memories in the famous colours. For that reason alone, we are there for you in the coming days and weeks.
We all have tough times when it seems like there might not be any more days in the sunshine but we can get through even the darkest days if we let the support settle around us.
As Churchill said "In this life, you just have to keep buggering on...."
Keep well.

Re: Dean Sampson
Sad to see threads like this, Dean was a fantastic player and a nice bloke to boot, i've been in his company numerous times and he's a lovely lad. Hope he gets the help he needs.
