He is doing fine you loons, I'm sure he won't be the last half back to struggle against Hulls left edge this year. All 100kg plus.

You should know by now that even though this is a forum, rule number 1 is "you are not allowed an opinion".jackknife wrote:Hahaha theres a lot of drama queens on here, im not saying sack rankin n ship him out but i do think Roberts did more in the short space of time he was on the field n i think hes the better 6.
Thats just my opinion no need for the meltdowns.
rankin will be a good player for cas well harsh to call him out after two gamescogito ergo sum wrote:Did Roberts do more or better organising than Rankin, better kicking game than Rankins, lose the ball more than Rankin? Much more to Rankin's game than all the sparkly stuff. I suppose DP hasn't noticed it either, but he does select him!
For me Robert's and Trueman are our starting halfs now and Rankin was filling in while Robert's had a knock but after Thursdays game Robert's look dangerous (apart from the daft pass/knock on) i haven't really seen Rankin do much and our right side looks none existent in attack. Maybe Rankin will have a stormer against London, hopefully.cogito ergo sum wrote:Did Roberts do more or better organising than Rankin, better kicking game than Rankins, lose the ball more than Rankin? very good post def should be 4 from 4 the yard stick be the fifth game warrington to see were we are to challenging for honours  :clap:Lofthouse Tiger wrote:Its 2 games in to the season, won 2 games and players will need time to get up to speed and Rankin is one of those players.
To beat Catalans and Hull is not a bad effort because when those 2 improve it will be a different story.
Couple of weeks off now to get the injuries looked at and work at the plays and we then have 2 games that we should be winning comfortably. 4 from 4 anyone?
Have to agree with this, I was disappointed with the number of tackles he fell off but also 1 on 1 if the guy is losing his grip we should have lads running in to support.Ladytiger wrote:And on last nights display you think Roberts deserves to start and drop rankin to the bench or drop him.. god how fickle are you give rankin a chance his defence against Catalans was fantastic needs time to gel with the team
To be fair, Shenton has really stepped it up after some questionable performances last year. Had a decent back end of 2018 and carried that good form in 2019.scottiger wrote:I thought shenton needed to retire also ? That was last year's big debate ...... Fickle
